Megan O. – Office Manager

Megan joined LIHHS in April of 2025. She moved to Lopez Island with her family in 1997 and is passionate about giving back to the community that shaped her upbringing. She brings a strong background in customer service, administrative operations and team coordination.

Outside of the office, Megan is passionate about wellness, holistic living and exploring the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. She values balance, compassion and integrity in all areas of life – both professionally and personally.

Stephanie Vallejo – Client Services Manager

Stephanie Vallejo joined LIHHS in February of  2025 as Client Services Manager. She first worked as a caregiver starting at 17 while working through college on her Bachelors in English Literature. She has worked with individuals of all ages and with a variety of needs and abilities. She spent over a decade working in the Deaf community in Indianapolis, IN as well as working in the blind school. She worked in schools, in mental health offices and as a mentor in the foster care system. She has spent the last 15 years working on Lopez in a variety of capacities the last 10 years building her own animal care business.

Stephanie has traveled all of the lower 48 states as well as volunteering in China for over a year and is always looking for ways to combine adventure with service. Her life long relationship of caregiving is what drew her to this position. The opportunity to help connect individuals in the community who could use a helping hand with people who have a heart for service. She strives to create an environment that encourages community members to reach out for our services as well as fostering a well supported volunteer base.

Megan C. – Jingle Fundraiser Lead

Megan loves living on Lopez with her husband, baby, and dog, and feels lucky to have been part of this special island community for seven years now. She is delighted to be helping organize the Jingle Mingle fundraiser for the third time this year.
