LIHHS presents: Living Losses

The emotional challenges of living side by side or with a serious, progressive, chronic, or life-limiting illness.

If you’re experiencing your own illness, or if you’re caring for or about someone who is seriously ill, please join us on November 9th, 10:00am at Grace Church to address common experiences and ways to help you manage ongoing emotional challenges.

Our panel will discuss living with losses from different perspectives and will be available to respond to your questions. Dr. Elizabeth Landrum, clinical psychologist, will address the grief process, ambiguous and anticipatory losses experienced in serious illness, and coping strategies. Nancy Ewert will speak from personal experiences of “Living and Dying without a Map”; and Roni Becker-Wilke will talk about community resources and support.

The panel presentation will be followed by quiet reflection and time to discuss attendees’ questions.
